Now it starts! After a mega strong performance by the German team at the qualifying tournament in Ireland, we are now heading across the pond to the World Championships in Las Vegas. A total of 16 qualified nations are competing in the Seniors World Padel Championship and Germany is taking part with both its men's and women's teams. The DPV team is led by the new national coach, Marcelo "Masa" Perez. As a multiple Spanish, European and world champion in the over 45s category, there is hardly anyone better suited to lead our team to the long-awaited World Championship title!
Are we out of our minds? Yes, yes, it's fine, the Spanish might still be a bit too strong, and yes, the Argentinians too. What? The Italians are supposed to be too strong too?...and the Brazilians too?...Holy shit, who can we actually beat and who is even involved?
OK, OK, it won't be easy, but the team will give it their all and maybe there will be one or two surprises. With the incredible team spirit that exists in the team, our teams will definitely have to be beaten first! Come on + Vamos = Kommosch!!!
