Die Padel-Highlights 2021 in Deutschland

Something is happening in Padel Germany! With 53 teams and a total of 588 player registrations, the first Padel Bundesliga season 2020 was a complete success, or rather it would have been if the Corona lockdown hadn't put an end to the fun before all the group matches had been played. We, the incorrigibly optimistic padel friends, have not yet given up hope that the Final Four match day and the placement games can be rescheduled by March 31st, but what if not?... then we are looking forward to the 2021 season, because it starts in April and more teams have already announced their participation in Germany's largest padel tournament than last year.

The finals are set to take place in August in a spectacular new facility in Berlin. Rumour has it that this will be part of a mega padel event that will also attract some of the world's best players. You'll find out more about this here shortly!

But the Bundesliga is by no means the only way to satisfy the hunger for competition in padel. With over 150 registered tournaments, 2021 could be an absolute record year for the German Padel Series. It is encouraging that the proportion of women's tournaments has risen sharply: from 8 to 39. The same applies to the senior tournaments (from zero to 18) and the youth tournaments (previously 2, now 12). There will be 11 mixed tournaments. And 76 men's tournaments.

In any case, we are really excited and can hardly wait for things to finally get started again. See you on the pitch!
